Corinthians 14:12; So with yourselves, since you are eager for manifestations of the spirit, strive to excel in building up the church. Numbers 11:17; And I will come down and talk with you there. And I will take some of the spirit that is on you and put it on them, and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you may not bear it yourself alone.
Praying is a recommendation from Christ himself and further enforced by the holy scriptures by many great men of God for that matter we ought to pray without ceasing, and in praying one would bear me out that one of the many things we pray for as Christians is the Holy Spirit, but the sad thing is most of us do not even know the full value and purpose of that power God has imbibed us through the Holy Spirit. Many great prophets in the bible served as lamps from which many others were lighted nonetheless they did not loss their brightness or importance, thus the anointing does not deplete.
What we ought to know and understand as Christians filled with the anointing is that with great power comes a great responsibility. The anointing does not just come for our own benefit and selfish gains but rather for the edification, welfare and progress of the church. So if the good lord has heeded your prayer and has anointed with a particular spiritual gifting, then is high time you started working to ensure the progress of the church. Bless the Church with your gift and help others attain their gifting and draw more closer to God for we are a lamp light and place on a table or top of the hill that we may light the path for others to follow to God.
