My first large square work in the fluid art technique. After my works of 15/15 cm, where I perfectly felt the volume of paint and its capabilities. I decided to try a very large square. And as it turned out, I was not prepared for this outcome of this experiment.
I couldn't get the right amount of paint for a long time. I calculated the approximate amount based on my experience. And suddenly, I had to add two more measures of pigment. But the painting is already in progress. And this technique (in my hands) does not involve multiple infusions of paint. Control over the process is lost. And the paint does not want to spread as it flows on a small format.
It looks like I needed a bucket of pigment, then it would have worked. And I measured with plastic cups for 0.5 liters. Then, when I smeared paint on the picture around the perimeter, it began to spread. And it flowed and flowed. My favorite bubbles appeared and flowed away)) Surprise in full measure.
I wanted to try to dress the picture in a baguette. Out of economy, I decided to create the frame myself. For a long time I was looking for how to make frames in general. And finally I came to an interesting option for me. I wanted the picture to sink into the frame. And there was a wide flat "side" protruding from the wall.
I bought a wooden corner from a hardware store. As well as tools: a saw, retainers, glue... I cut the blank and glued it with glue. The most difficult thing was to fix all the parts during drying. And imagine, I made a mistake in one of the details. I found out about it when I was putting the picture in the frame. The error is 2 mm, but the picture does not fit. Surprise))
And I always wanted to try to make such photos with lights))
