My new work. Favorite pastel. I really want to learn how to draw fantasy still lifes. In fact, there were other colors in the still life, but I used contrasting, emphasizing each other shades. Distort reality with the desire to show what I think is important. Seeing a still life is one thing, but telling a story with it is another. You can just draw chaotic objects, or you can add some kind of connecting thread. I wonder if you understand what I want to say? It's a little difficult for me to express this feeling in words. They are either too pretentious, or on the contrary devalue this feeling.
And yet, I'm looking for answers, what is the difference between an artist and a camera. Or the differences between the artist and the printer. I want to see a list of positive opportunities in all these directions. To clearly define what I want in the end.
Pastel, charcoal pencil, and pastel paper were used in the work.
