The more I draw, the more I have a stronger belief that academic education is a solid foundation. The works of the masters are distinguished by their clarity and accuracy. And the most relish when incredible accuracy is combined with a shapeless spot. It's like a combination of soft and hard.
Drawing in batches. "I drew a 100-sheet paper package." This is for a week or a couple of days. I have heard this repeatedly from different artists. I admired this volume. But in relation to me, it was a scarecrow. And here I am collecting a basket for the purchase of paper in a similar volume. I want to feel the freedom associated with the amount of artistic materials.
The work is done on pastel paper. Charcoal and graphite.
