Yup, that's right!
Time for another Splinterlands Emoji. I knew it had to be either Water or Dragon. I've made a character for all the other Splinters.
Once I settled on Water, I was leaning towards doing the shark. I visualized a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. But it just didn't seem right. If anyone was going to be the initial "face" of Water, it should be the King.
I mean, come on. Mr. Crabs is practically the whole point of playing Water, right? Protection AND Healing...for only 3 Mana??! His presence (or absence) pretty much determines whether you win or lose.
So.
For those of you who are extra observant, you may have noticed that I changed the title of the post this time. I added the word "Avatar".
I've given it some thought, and I came to the realization that these emojis would make really good Avatar pics. If a player wanted a fun, colorful, vibrant profile image for their account, what could be more perfect than these emojis??! So although I started out this project as an Emoji collection, it just makes way more sense to use these graphics for something tangible and practical RIGHT NOW.
Sure, it's possible that we're able to someday integrate these images into the in-game chat or the Splintertalk interface. But in the MEANTIME, I'd love to give people the option to use them in the game, on the forums, in the Tribe, or wherever!
So with that in mind, allow me to provide you with not only an Avatar badge for the Crustacean King...but all previous emojis as well!
Even if you don't use them for your primary account, feel free to use them on any Alts you might have.
The next one should be from the Dragon splinter. Let me know in the comments if you think it should be any particular character!
