Alright esteemed #Uloggers and steemians in general!
It was Monday 03/06/18, in a very small town called kafanchan in Kaduna state Nigeria west Africa. It was a wonderful feelings once again seeing wonderful, adorable, brilliant, and smart kids once again after going for the weekend.
We were all seated back in class today learning and having fun as well. At about 10:00am (Nigerian time) the bell goes for break, and all the kids left the class jumping and jubilating as always. 5 minutes later, two of my pupils JIMOLO and EMMANUELA showed up.
Hahahahahaha....
Those who have been following my #Ulog would probably guess what happened! (DRAMA)....
And they said to me "Uncle, can you please give us the keys to the garden (school farm)???
And I replied " Babies, go to the play ground now, it's time to go and play and not going into the school garden".
And they responded "Yes Uncle, that we already know but we just want to get hold of that long pole in the garden (school farm)"
And I said "Come on babies, what would you use it for?"
And they all replied "we want to use and plug down the sun from the sky".
Hmmmmmm....
My breath ceased for a while as I was caught up in a surprised.
And I asked them " babies, why do you want to plug down the sun from the sky?"
Then JIMOLO replied "because I don't want the sun. Any time I go to bed at night day breaks, and my mummy said, the sun makes the day breaks so I will get up and go to school. I don't like it. I would rather be on bed". Emmanuela aslo responded " Uncle, I hate the sun because I scorched so hard on my skin".
At that point I realized they are all right, and it's OK for them to feel that way.
But this is what I said " Babies, it's OK. You can go and plug down the sun but you will have to stay on bed all the times, and you can't visit and play with your friends any more, and they can't visit and play with you as well because it will always be dark. You can't come to school, you will not see me again, plants and crops will die and there will be no food for you to eat".
Hey! Not to worry guys.....
Hahaha.....
They will not plug down the sun again because having said that, they turned and looked at themselves and said "WE LOVE THE SUN"
