While some of the backpack designs were revealed earlier, we now know that there will be five different categories of backpacks, ranging in rarity from uncommon to Holo. These backpacks will be used to store items and loots that players find while journeying through the Holo world, and each backpack will have a different storage capacity based on its rarity. While it's possible that each backpack may be specific to the Healer of its own element, it's not yet clear if they will provide any special stat boosts for that Healer.
Continuing on, it's also worth noting that the developers have hinted at future plans for these backpacks that extend beyond their primary storage function. It will be interesting to see how these plans unfold, as they could potentially add even more depth and value to the game.
While we don't know the exact size of the Holo world at launch, it's clear that there are plans for future expansion and additional features. In the meantime, exploring the map to find wild creatures could take some time, but mounts like the Bike and Hover Board can help reduce travel time. Like the backpacks, each element has its own exclusive mount, and they come in a variety of rarities. These rarities may affect the mount's speed and stamina consumption, as well as possibly increasing the chance of encountering wild creatures. However, it's worth noting that these mounts may not have much use early in the game, as their primary function is to reduce travel time and their other attributes may not be fully realized until later in the game. That said, the potential for mounts to become more valuable as the game progresses is definitely something to keep an eye on.
The Holozing Forest Bike is designed with a futuristic aesthetic, while still retaining a clean and streamlined design. Drawing inspiration from racing bikes, it has thin tires to give it a light and efficient feel. The 'Z' design adds a touch of character and individuality, while also serving a practical purpose as a visual identifier for each player's unique healer. Overall, the design is focused on both form and function.
The Hover Board's design is inspired by the concept of futuristic floating, and features glowing lights that create an energetic and mysterious atmosphere. Achieving a simple yet strong design, the Hover Board is inspired by the 'green goblin' hoverboard, while also adding a unique flair that captures the essence of future technology. The design is intended to be both visually appealing and evocative of the possibilities of advanced technology.
Healers and creatures in the Holo world require food and water to survive. These consumables play an important role in the game, as Healer Food restores healing ability points, Creature Food restores HP, and Water restores both mana and ability points. These items may be single-use only, making them valuable resources that could potentially be sold by NPCs or crafted by players. This adds an extra level of strategy and decision-making to the game, as players must consider when and how to use their consumables to maximize their efficiency.
In addition to the food and water consumables, the starter pack also includes Mana Potions and Mana Elixirs. While the two items look similar, their effects are different. Mana Potions appear to increase a Healer's mana, while Mana Elixirs seem to provide temporary stat boosts. These items can be used both in and out of battle, adding another layer of strategy to the game. The use of consumables may be crucial in certain situations, making resource management an important skill for players to master.
In addition to food, water, Mana Potions, and Mana Elixirs, the starter pack also includes Healing Gloves, Capture Devices, Capture Ammos, and Empty Alpha Cards. These are high-quality items with beautiful art designs, and they are limited to the first batch of starter packs. At $20 per pack, they seem like a good value, especially considering the potential for price appreciation if they're not soul-bound. There's still much to discover about the contents of the starter packs, and I'm excited to see what other items are included.
