Honestly, I can’t say without looking at the map where La Guayaba is — that circuit where riders of all levels race on Saturdays and glory tastes like… you think I’ll say guava? Nope, mango lol. But that’s just this season, ’cause there are mangoes all over the place! And since lots of cyclists are good‑looking, some girls I know call them that too. Like… hey, check out that mango!
So, La Guayaba Circuit, Saturday 13 June.
But I’m not going to waste time on that (in terms of location) as I’m a bit rushed. I have to go out cycling. Today is cycle touring day!
And I suppose I’ll do the same when I arrive — take off my shoes!
Speaking of shoes, Cuba’s heat made this Colombian’s shoes come apart. Well yes, the race is international. He was gripping it hard so the glue could set.
I’ve had bad experiences with glues. I tried to fix my glasses when one of the arms broke two days ago and I couldn’t manage it… good luck, bro! 😄
By the way, this is my contribution to the #Monomad Challenge. ;)
That’s how I picture myself in a few months — part of the peloton! Haha.
I keep going with the photos, all jokes aside.
The veterans who have cycled around Cuba several times.
Do you know what advice I was given? Never stop pedalling.
😉
