I write from a paradise. Fine white sand, sea, magical sunsets and sunrises only suitable for Angels and Gods: those angels and gods that we all carry inside.
You feel in this scenario great happiness and also nostalgia, because you want to share this with so many dear people... even with those who have preferred to stay away or to be silent.
I am right now in the lobby of the Starfish Cuatro Palmas Hotel in Varadero. Between yesterday and today I took so many photos that I really don't feel fit to process much of it. I think they will come to the Blockchain one step at a time. So I have selected something to record this time of vacation that I am enjoying very much.
I'm with my mom, my dad, my aunt, my parents' friends (I've already referred to them as my godparents in other posts), their daughter and her husband.
Lots of laughs, you can imagine. Time for conversations and reminiscences as well.
Even the marks on our skin participate in these talks and remind me that my first tattoo has to come one day 馃槈... I guess, but it has to be special.
I was asked what song I wanted to listen to at that moment. I asked for Shallow. I went through two or three memories and decided to stay still here, feeling. Some people think that a sunset is the same anywhere. That it's just the sun, touching that edge? oh, but I can hear the crackling of the fire, even if they talk around me. And I answered no, it can't be the same because now I will have this memory of a song, the company and a few beautiful thoughts and wishes, for someone very special.
So we decided to attend the sunrise today. I have been selecting the moments I would share with you for a while now.
We weren't the only ones on the beach at that time, of course.
