Cats are obligate carnivores, for sure, but there's a difference between feeding a cat a vegan diet and, like, giving a cat a few pumpkin seeds as a treat.
Willow gets a fully meat-based diet, but I've given her wet foods with vegetables before (inidentally, it's usually the fancy kinds!) and every. single. time. She eats around the vegetables. Haven't found a single one she likes.
Idk! Cats are funny, they have personality and preference just like we people do! She can't tell me what she likes directly, so I try to give her different stuff every now and then to see what she likes! Maybe one day I'll find a vegetable she likes! Or, lmao, a fruit. The thought of a cat eating, like, a strawberry is really funny to me:)
