As a teacher, I meet students every semester and like to address them by name. This can make a difference. The student feels recognized and of course, feels heard. It is ironic that in the age of telecommunications, there are people with very little ability to listen, to speak, in short, to communicate. In some children's centers, the children have their name on a sticker attached to their chest, and some objects are labeled with their names so that they can differentiate them. When God made the world, he put his name on everything. When we name something by its name, that something begins to exist in me. I visualize it, I believe it. Hence the power to hear and speak a word. Very good this chapter, Eric. Nice Monday
