These empanadas are very well known in Venezuela and are rightly called: Chilean empanadas. It's true: you can fill them with anything. In Venezuela they are perfect for children's lunch boxes or for the evening, as dinner. The empanadas from Venezuela are not made with wheat flour, but with corn flour.
