It was Saturday. Indeed I came out of the house.
Who can ignore that beautiful sunshine?😊 I decided to take a walk and visit our garden, which I usually do on Saturdays, to recharge my energy from the week-long hard work.
Our garden is more or less a hundred meters away from our house. While walking I am enjoying the beauty of the nature that refreshes me.
I passed by chickens looking for food.
Welcome to our garden. In front, you can see flowering and nonflowering plants. We have a spider plant, bougainvillea, and a few varieties of San Francisco. As you can see from the picture, our garden is a bit elevated.
We have a small house in the middle which we call "payag" in the Philippines. Here we used to sit and relax while enjoying nature's view and the beautiful growth of the plants.
At the back portion of the payag are the different vegetables.
We have here a few squash together with the bitter gourd. Which are my favorite. I like squash for Easy Utan Bisaya dish(Law-uy) while for bitter gourd, I like it with eggs.
We also have Papaya, a kind of variety that is short but can already provide a lot of fruits.
We also have Malabar Spinach. As you can see, it's all mature and needs to be replanted.
A healthy cucumber.

We use organic fertilizers for our plants. we patiently collected animal manure in the meadow where cows and carabaos are put to take a rest. We mixed this with the soil and some decayed leaves.
Watching this kind of surroundings is a beauty that eases my stress and lightens my burdens.
