Most of the time, delivery companies are seen as being bad at providing good customer service due to the way their delivery workers handle customers' packages sometimes. Over the last few years, I've noticed that most of the delivery drivers stopped knocking on the door when delivering packages. Even postal workers just throw your packages in front of your door a lot of the time as well.
The delivery people who have knocked on my door the most when delivering packages have been the ones who work for UPS. But I've noticed that recently a few Fed Ex workers have started knocking on the door again--and some of them even wait for you to answer the door and sign for the package.
Not all delivery people are alike. Some seem to be very apathetic when it comes to customers' packages, but some will at least try to handle your items with some kind of care.
