Even if there were a lot of posts published within a 24-hour time frame, most would just not show the effort to even deserve the OCD vote to my biased curation practice. Why would something like one picture and 3 paragraph saying you like the anime be worth 5$ at minimum? If you want to frame the post as a review, make it look like a review, pros and cons of the show, what else is going for it that makes it different from the already existing shows of its genre.

Movies & TV Shows Community still suffers from this. I think all communities do. We have a nice balance of good authors that balance things out, though. This comment alone might actually spark my interest in creating a post for it encouraging people to use high quality screenshots when possible.

Moving on though... I think it'd be best if anime posts did actually stay outside of the community. Movies and tv shows have very different audiences to anime fans. I've met many anime fans that didn't watch anything other than anime. To be home to both audiences might not be the best course of action for those looking specifically for anime; especially if the current audience is relatively sparse. It might make things a bit harder for them to find the sense of belonging they'd want here on Hive.

I've spoken to dlstudios a few times about this already actually. But I'd be happy to contribute to The Anime Realm in any way possible. I've thought about directing people that do post anime in the Movies & TV Shows Community but decided not to act due to the lack of knowing what exactly was going to take place with The Anime Realm. I didn't want to people to neither feel they were welcome or going to get the audience & rewards they might deserve by posting in a smaller place.

Maybe we can get together over on Discord and talk about it all a bit more.
