En marzo del 2021, el servicio de streaming, Amazon Prime Video, estrenó la serie animada llamada "Invincible" la cual está basada en el comic del mismo nombre y en dónde se relata la historia del adolescente "Mark Grayson", el cual para los ojos del mundo es alguien normal, pero la realidad es que su padre, "Nolan Grayson", es el héroe más poderoso del planeta, "Omni-Man"; eso conlleva a que Mark deba lidiar con la presión de estar cerca de lo que su padre representa y la difícil transición de la adolescencia a la adultez, ambas situaciones no serán nada fácil de enfrentar por la aparición de un inesperado y poderoso enemigo. Esa breve sinopsis cubre en parte los ocho episodios que conforman la primera temporada, en dónde el personaje principal no deberá enfrentar por sí solo los problemas, ya que recibirá el apoyo de otros personajes, en especial el de "Atom Eve", una joven heroína que tiene una historia personal que necesitaba ser explorada para un futuro desarrollo en esta serie.

In March 2021, the streaming service, Amazon Prime Video, premiered the animated series called "Invincible" which is based on the comic of the same name and where the story of the teenager "Mark Grayson" is told, which for the eyes of the world is someone normal, but the reality is that his father, "Nolan Grayson", is the most powerful hero on the planet, "Omni-Man"; This means that Mark must deal with the pressure of being close to what his father represents and the difficult transition from adolescence to adulthood, both situations will not be easy to face due to the appearance of an unexpected and powerful enemy. This brief synopsis covers part of the eight episodes that make up the first season, where the main character will not have to face the problems alone, as he will receive the support of other characters, especially that of "Atom Eve", a young heroine who has a personal story that needed to be explored for future development in this series.
El pasado viernes, de manera sorpresiva, se estrenó un episodio especial de "Invincible" que está enfocado en uno de sus personajes, que como dije en el párrafo anterior, espero que tenga un mejor desarrollo, por supuesto, que tenga más importancia en la segunda temporada pronta a estrenarse. Este breve episodio, de 55 minutos de duración, nos relata el origen de "Atom Eve"; una historia que nos demuestra el porqué de su actitud en lo que fue la primera temporada de esta serie; esta historia presenta un magnífico origen de un personaje de comic, en este caso de una heroína en lo que puedo decir que es perfecto por la manera de que está desarrollo.

La historia para este episodio fue escrita por Helen Leigh y Robert Kirkman, este segundo es creador de "Invincible" tanto del comic como de la serie y en esta oportunidad, junto a Leigh, crean una buena historia que posiblemente no sea de lo más original, pero muy bien hecha; personalmente lo veo como un buen complemento para lo que es el personaje en la primera temporada de esta serie, pero también funciona muy bien para hacer que personas que no hayan visto nada de Invincible, pueda motivarse y ver esta excelente historia.

The story for this episode was written by Helen Leigh and Robert Kirkman, the latter is the creator of "Invincible" both the comic and the series and this time, together with Leigh, create a good story that may not be the most original, but very well done; personally I see it as a good complement to what is the character in the first season of this series, but also works very well to make people who have not seen anything of Invincible, can be motivated and see this excellent story.
The direction is very good; I like that it takes the time to develop the action scenes, as well as the growth of the protagonist; that dynamic step from being a baby to being a teenager who, at that stage of life, discovers her powers, is essential to the story because it explores that change and that leads to the very good action scenes; remember that this is a story of less than an hour long, but it is so good that I wish it had lasted longer.
La animación es muy fluida, en mi opinión existe una clara mejoría de lo que se vio en los episodios anteriores y eso es algo que me crea expectativas para la próxima temporada de esta serie; debo repetir que me gustaron mucho las escenas de acción, en especial la escena final que es impresionante y me hace pensar que posiblemente el futuro del género de superhéroes de comics, deban dejar atrás las versiones de acción-real y enfocarse en la animación, creo que existe un potencial enorme en crear imágenes más sorprende, algo que ya se ha visto en films cómo Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse y la secuela, pero creo que las demás producciones deberían enfocarse en eso.
The animation is very fluid, in my opinion there is a clear improvement from what was seen in previous episodes and that is something that creates expectations for the next season of this series; I must repeat that I really liked the action scenes, especially the final scene which is impressive and makes me think that possibly the future of the comic book superhero genre, should leave behind the action-real versions and focus on animation, I think there is a huge potential in creating more surprising images, something that has already been seen in films like Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse and the sequel, but I think that other productions should focus on that.
Inesperada, pero sorprendente historia, animación, producción, perfecto relato del origen de un héroe y es que Atom Eve es una gran heroína, porque decide transitar ese camino, uno que está lleno de rechazo, de soledad, tristeza, de no encajar en ningún lado, pero justamente es todo eso lo que la motiva en usar el don que no pidió tener para hacer el bien; como pueden observar, me gustó mucho este breve, pero excelente episodio que me tentó en ver los anteriores ocho episodios de la primera temporada de Invincible, pero esperaré a que esté cerca el 3 de noviembre, para hacer un repaso de esta historia y seguir disfrutando las aventuras de estos jóvenes héroes.
