Today I want to share with you the beginning of reading a beautiful book by the great writer Walter Riso, who with words and advice can help us to improve our life and personality, especially to love ourselves.
Today I will start talking about the first chapter of the first part of the book "LOVE AND DO NOT SUFFER" which I hope to learn and that I must improve, in the same way I know that many of you like the subject because they are related to the daily life . The key issues are; EROS-DESIRE, PHILIA-AMISTAD, AGAPE-TERNURA.
The first part of the book tells us about love that hurts and gives us a thought that says:
"All passions are good when one owns them, and all are bad when they enslave us" Rousseau.
These words are very true because when you enjoy something it is because there is in you that desire and that passion in living that moment and you do it because you are born, you want and you can control it. Instead when you do something to please the other or feel good and enjoy yourself without thinking about your partner is called selfishness. Sometimes the pleasure of feeling good or making your partner feel good becomes vicious and that could be bad for both of you. In a relationship there must be respect, equality of conditions and rights.
The first chapter tells of falling in love; which we all have lived at some point in our lives. When you are in this stage you idealize being loved in a perfect way regardless of your defects, where exclusivity and fidelity are framed and there is no one better, where the feelings of attachment and attraction flow through just looking or talking to the loved one , the feeling that this love will be forever but sometimes it can become obsessive, and when presenting some problem always take the risk to keep the relationship.
To keep the love Laughter gives us some advice friends I hope we serve and are the following:
1-Do not idealize the loved one.
This does not mean to be distrustful of the couple alone that a balance must be established to maintain the relationship, as laughter the key is; be realistic, the lady even if she is fascinated by the subject do not give up at your feet and the gentleman even if she looks like a goddess, do not look like a slave.
2-Being in love does not imply abandoning your social role and your other areas of performance.
You should not leave family, friends or work for the couple the other should accept you as you are and knew you.
3- Eros decays, does not necessarily end, but declines over time so do not get too excited.
That is to say that love does not last forever will have its ups and downs and patience must be had because the falling in love tends to decrease intensity.
4-Do not let the person you love occupy your mind, as if it were a virus.
You can think of the other but not to the point of reaching the obsession can get to get psychologically psychological and get to exhaust or annoy your partner.
5- If your relationship requires you to make heroic sacrifices and strenuous efforts to keep it active, it does not work. The infatuation is not philia nor marriage cohabitation.
Always what is done to maintain a relationship should not be sacrifice but a pleasure always with mutual effort.
Laughter comes to the conclusion that falling in love is an emotional state that can lead you to commit any foolishness, such as getting married without thinking too much, delivering your goods, or your life.
Dear friends, I hope you like this first chapter just like me, I think it is a subject of great importance and more in these days where the relationships of couples are so diverse and open to any expectation.
