Monomad: A turtle eating leaves [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

It has always been so interesting for me to observe certain animals in their habitat, to see how they behave, eat or rest and in this opportunity I share with you some pictures I took of a small turtle (in Venezuela it is known as morrocoy) while it was eating some leaves and plants in the backyard.

Siempre me ha resultado tan interesante el observar a ciertos animales en su hábitat, el ver cómo se comportan, comen o descansan y en esta oportunidad les comparto algunas fotografías que le hice a una pequeña tortuga (en Venezuela se le conoce como morrocoy) mientras comía algunas hojas y plantas del patio.

Lately, I am finding beauty in everything that surrounds me, so capturing any moment that can be magical makes me quite happy and even more when they involve situations that can be quite common, but in many occasions we are not aware of this, that's why I love to photograph them.

Últimamente, estoy encontrando belleza en todo lo que me rodea, por lo que capturar cualquier momento que pueda ser mágico me hace bastante feliz y más cuando estos suponen situaciones que pueden ser bastante comunes, pero que en muchas ocasiones no somos nada consciente de esto, por eso el hacerlos fotografía me encanta.

Turtles are usually slow, but it was difficult to take pictures of them because they move quite a bit to eat, so I had to do my best to get a good focus and perfectly freeze their movements, so I'm quite happy with the result.

Las tortugas suelen ser lentas, pero se me hizo difícil el hacerle fotos porque para comer se mueven bastante, ahí sí tienen una gran velocidad, por lo que tuve que hacer mi mejor esfuerzo para obtener un buen enfoque y congelar a la perfección sus movimientos, por lo que estoy bastante contento con el resultado.
