At the basement of the Santa Maria del Fiore Basilica of Florence you will be quite surprised to see some of the finest Royal possessions. On our visit, we visited many Museums and Florence was one of the last destinations, so I was not very keen on watching the Museum, but my Son insisted that we should take one glance and check out the place. It was a good decision made by him. I will not so I saw something out of the world but it surely there were some exquisite things to see.
I will share the write up of this place as mentioned in the House, to get a better idea of what this place is all about.

Look at these beautiful things, very well maintained.
This brocade work reminded me of Sarees of our Grandmother's time. My granny had one Saree with some intricate brocade work. But over a period of time, it got damaged as it was very old and it also became dark. There were some people who did the polishing work but now I do not see them anymore. Anyways this is a beautiful piece of work
The best part what I like about Italy is that it is full of Angel Figurines :-). Everywhere you go you find them in figures. I bought one Fairy figure and one Angel Figure. I have not yet opened them. I planned to do a Angel Feast end of this month and I am planning to set them up on the table at that time.
This was an interesting thing kept in the house. There were 2 of them one male and one female, showing complete anatomy of the internal body.
And then I saw the most of beautiful thing. A huge Lapis Lazuli Crystal, could not get my eyes off it

We could spend some few hours in Florence and then we headed to Pisa to see the wonder of the world Leaning Tower of Pisa.
