My weekend starts by Thursday evening, and no matter however the week has been, but I make it a point to step out on a Thursday evening and also it goes without saying Friday and Saturday as well.
Last evening, we went to the Corniche, the weather is very hot these days, but surprisingly last evening it was little better and not very hot. It was pleasant to take a stroll. I had already done my daily work out routine, so I was not in a mood for brisk walk, all I wanted to do was just chill out in the place and enjoy the fresh air.
I just missed the sunset, but I did get to see some beautiful colors in the sky
The vibe of this place is really very good. Calm and relaxing
The Crow is also enjoying the views :-)
The Cruise that you see here is owned by the Sultan (King) here, it is permanently docked in this place.
The small brown color wooden boat that you see is called the Dhow, it used for taking people around just for leisure
Opposite the Corniche is the Children park. Thankfully it's open now, but everything shuts down by 08:00 p.m. since we have lockdowns going on from 08 p.m. to 04 a.m.
This whole stretch is normally filled with flowers in the winters, in summer they are less. Right now they have again started planting.
An on this hill top is the viewing gallery, it gives a beautiful view of the whole of the Corniche. I have never been there on the top, but plan to go someday.
It was a calm and peaceful evening.
