Current crypto coin prices compared to their all time high (ATH)

The following table shows the current prices of the 20 cryptocurrencies with the highest market capitalization according to CoinMarketCap. For every coin, it also lists its all time high (ATH) and the difference between the current price and the ATH.

This shows that the biggest loosers of the recent down trend are clearly Tron (-78%) and Ripple (-68%). Bitcoin Gold also trades about 66% below its ATH. But in contrast to Tron and Ripple it reached its ATH already in October 2017 and not in in January 2018.

The most solid currencies where VeChain (-21%), EOS(-24%) and Ethereum(-26%). Personally I would guess that coins which are performing solid in bad times will also outperform the market when the whole market is bullish. I'd also advise against investing in Tron and Ripple because the potential gap towards the all time high is pretty high. Nothing guarantees that they will ever reach this value again.
