Here is a short video of a well-known visitor in our countryside: the Egyptian mongoose.
It searches the ground for food (rats, mice, large insects).
It is generally harmless to humans and skittish, usually fleeing if it spots you. However, if you raise poultry (chickens, etc.), it is best to make sure they are well protected at night.
