I worked a late last night and was tired when I finally got home.
The emergency was fun but exhausting; it was time to rest. That being said, I was not given the opportunity to do so. Between the Little Man and Connor, it was an active night that saw me awake at 0200 reading blogs.I often work an early on the Sunday, but not today. I had crashed on the spare bed and Connor was asleep next to me at 0500, when the mobile alarm I forgot to turn off rang from underneath us both - freaking us both out (damn!!).
Since then I have been up and moving about.
I find the day starts of easy, but as the hours move on, the yawning increases and I become sluggish. It would be easy just to relax and do as little as possible - the Little Man is with Grandparents so it would be easy to skip the project out the back and skip writing the blog. Just relax and do some reading or watch a movie. But this cat of mine glared at me from through the lounge window as I sat on the couch "You get out here now or else!!" I could not ignore the calling.
When it comes to the gardening, it is just one step after the other. Then, before you know it, you lose track of time and start to wake up and enjoy yourself!
I can see that the same principle applies to Steemit. It's fun at the start, but it hits the "yawn" stage relatively quickly,. We don't all become quickly rich and very popular from around the world. But one by one we form connections - it's sometimes better on the Steemit journey to take time to get to know others. Then, bit by bit, the numbers rise and we are enjoying ourselves in the process.
So even if you're tired and can't be bothered reading or posting those blogs; no matter what your project or task may be - just keep chuggin' along...
