She was in the shopping mall when her friend finally found her; tucking into a frozen yoghurt. 30 weeks pregnant with her first little one and indulging in delights of obsessive cravings.
"You know you're not supposed to be eating that!!"
"Why not - Matt told me: if I want it I can have it! I looked at this strawberry frozen yoghurt and decided it's mine."
"Yoghurt has cultures in it - it's bad for pregnancy. The little one has no immune system."
"Rubbish - this thing is frozen! Any cultures would be dead in this! Anyway - I've almost finished it now. It's too late to complain."
"Her friend sighed. They were supposed to be looking for maternity bras (the boobs were getting huge!) But instead they wandered over to the food court.
"Ooh - sushi! I love sushi!!"
"You're not supposed to eat that either. Raw fish - there's also a potential for bacteria."
"How about those eggs benedict serves then. I love eggs benedict."
"Think about it! Raw gooey eggs - another nono"
"How am I supposed to have a child if all I'm supposed to do is starve?"
"Well - you're obviously not starving from what I can see. And there is a massive list of foods you can eat. You can look them up online. How about we share some fries? Then we'll go and look for these bras and clothes you need?"
"I don't know - maybe becoming a new Mum isn't all it's cracked up to be. I don't like getting fat!"
"It'll fall off after. Don't worry. Let's get some Maccas They're ok."
"Ohh - I love Maccas!!!"
