Pandemic has changed the way the morning used to be. In past the morning was all about making breakfast and tiffin for family members. And now there is no one fixed routine. You don't know when things will go back to the lockdown again.

Prior to the pandemic, I used to wake up at 6 and then walk for minutes outside. And then also come home for some cardio. And then from the 8 I used to work on the breakfast and tiffin. It was slow and simple at that time. It was time when I used to make the tiffin by taking ideas from the Japanese tiffin ideas.

Then pandemic happened. Folks at home stayed up for long time and started routine of waking up pretty late. Now the routine for eating breakfast, afternoon lunch and also the evening dinner has shifted by hours.

Morning in Pandemic Times

These days we have odd and even days for the shops and the malls opening out. And so we get to prepare to stand in queue when they open. I usually make sure to prep meals a day before when such grocery days are there.

I have developed a routine to drink the water from the copper glass every morning. And this way i can take care of my digestion issues which happened a lot during the pandemic times.

After that I make sure to do the exercise because during the pandemic times the weight gain and the issues with the stomach. I do cardio and yoga as that has helped me in the past and I hope it continues to help my stomach and other issues too.

After exercise and other routine in the morning. I move onto use the prep meals to make the breakfast. I also am focusing more on the vegan food in the morning. Like say salads and also oats. Especially the oats which are pretty healthy every morning.

I also am preparing for the afternoon lunch items during this time. And this way it saves my time later. And I can also take care of the cleaning of kitchen and other rooms.

Once the breakfast and the prep and cleaning is done. I get the time from the 11 to 12 for taking a bit of breaking by changing the stuff here and there and preparing for the rest of the cooking for the afternoon.

And that pretty much ends my morning.
