We did gardening today, though we haven't planted anything yet. It's just a small piece of land and worked during the late afternoon when it's not hot outside.

We took a walk to a nearby construction site. We asked to have some of their soil. They dug a rectangular hole in the ground, I guess for plumbing, water piping? So, we asked for that soil they dug and they graciously allowed us.

We put it in small sacks, we didn't fill it up but it's still so heavy. I took one sack at a time and brought it home. Good thing we're just nearby.

We added some, uh.. I don't know what it's called in English and I don't really know what for either.

We put a layer of soil on top of the soil haha.
The orange soil came from a place where they raise chickens.
This place, when I just got here, was surprised to see orange soil. But I guess it's good soil because it's the mountains and there are lots of trees. I saw this kind of soil in Guimaras Island, Philippines. This place is known for growing and exporting one of the best and sweetest mangoes in the world, everything is sweet here. I love mangoes.

My dad cut old and unused bamboos lying on the side of the parking space and we made it into a fence. And then, we're done for the day.
