Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
This week I made a change and built 2 new decks. First up I built a nice Wild deck that was pretty fun to play. This deck gave some armor buffs that could prove tricky for some opponents to get around. However, my crem de la resistance was that I finally built my first Anubian deck.
When I first saw the Anubian, I knew I wanted to have an Anubian deck because I loved the buffs and abilities of the cards. The thing is I was having no idea how they were working and was not ready... until now.
I needed to buy quite a few cards, the most expensive ones are here, although they weren't that pricey really at lower levels.
A key card that I also bought was Neferu's Will. I have however not played it as I was not sure the best way to use it. However, now that I have reached Auric Gold, I think I need the extra boost. Combined with some skeleton Anubians, it could really buff a card up.
I just need to decide what to take out? What I love about this deck is that it spanks those damn annoying magic and deception control decks. I managed to take down a >$1k control magic deck and it felt good to punish those spell dominated players!!
Of course you need some good draw too, but damn it felt good.

Today's Battle - The Mighty Anubians
In this week's battle I show you how great this deck plays and how it helped me reach Auric Gold. Let's see if I manage to stay here, so far it looks good.
1 Mana
I go first and play Brimstone and Raving Necromancer. My opponent does nothing.
2 Mana
I play again Brimstone and luckily draw the Priestess. My opponent is already 6 mana down.
3 Mana
I play the Bronze Servant. My opponent plays the Moonlight Charm.
4 Mana
I bring out the Skeletons. My opponent is down to just 13 mana. Can he come back from this? (Hint: No). He fights back now though with taking out the Priestess and buffing his blitz attack and taking out my frontline.
5 Mana
I sacrifice some more Anubians but then bring summon them back from my void. My opponent is outnumbered here and the abilities will finish him off so he resigns gracefully!
Summary
The combinations with the Priestess and Raving Necromancer work really well. Especially combined with spells or monsters who bring the 1 mana cards back from the void.
My win ratio is looking good so far after 26 games and I have now added Neferu's Will in and have lost the first 2 games in Auric Gold!
Weekend Ranked Update
The weekend ranking was not so good for me again as my Wild deck started off well then was losing as I got higher ranked. I switched to the Anubian deck and this started working better. This weekend will just be the Anubian deck playing.
My total wins in the last 30 days has gone up slightly though, so this is a good sign.
My Collection and Earnings
Since my last update, I have now reached level 192(+10) and have 52(+20) shadow cards and 366(+35) meteorite cards. My collection value has increased and is worth 1841 (1626) GODS tokens and value in fiat of $291($255). Let's see how the value will hold up.
