If you are new to Hive, you may be wondering how do you buy some Hive and power-up your account so that you can start earning.
You may like me, first think you can buy it on a regular exchange like Kraken. Unfortunately, you can't buy it on the Kraken.
So, what can you do?
There are 6 possible exchangees where you can buy or sell your Hive. You can find the list of exchanges on the Hive Projects website. Here you can see them below:
The option that i have used is the tool Tribaldex.
I choose this tool as it looked user-friendly, you could possibly use the others just as easily.
You need to log in with HiveSigner as usual and then click your wallet below:
Afterwards, you should click "Deposit" and then select the required crypto that you will send to Tribaldex.
You will then receive an address with which to send the crypto (i would recomend to send Bitcoin or a similar token with low gas fees).
Once you have sent the crypto and it arrives, you are then able to convert it into your favourite Hive tokens in the usual process.
I hope this short guide is helpful, being a newbie to Hive myself, i thought it might be useful to others who want to power-up their account to start curating or staking Hive and related tokens. :-)
