Good Morning.

Again when I woke up this morning, the challenge was, to write something BEFORE I got onto social media and got distracted out of it.

Is it Sunday already?

I'm struggling with whether or not my topic is too mundane to bother with. Call it a special effort to reach just one person and say thanks.

mun·dane
ˌmənˈdān/
adjective
adjective: mundane

  1. lacking interest or excitement; dull.
"seeking a way out of his mundane, humdrum existence'
synonyms: humdrum, dull, boring, tedious, monotonous, tiresome, wearisome, unexciting, uninteresting, uninvolving, uneventful, unvarying, unremarkable, repetetive, repetitious, routine, ordinary, everyday. ETC.

It was a weird day yesterday. I went out grocery shopping for the household and it was raining. It wasn't too bad when I left the house ... little more than a gentle, quiet light rain. But when I got into town it seemed to be almost a downpour. Visibility for driving became a challenge. The weather matched my mood though.

Finally I got home and after putting all of the groceries away and even cutting apart the broccoli and strawberries so I could put them in the freezer fully processed in order to save room in my refrigerator, and I sat down on the floor in my room for a quiet moment alone. To catch my breath and sort my thoughts.

That's when, out of all the chaos, I heard those three little words. Faint and yet so clear.

I Love You.

At first I wasn't even sure I heard it.

Then I followed the words down into the darkness of my physical body. I noticed a gentle spark of gold light and warmth, where the words made a connection inside. Light as a summer breeze. So then I knew they were in fact, real. That feeling stayed with me for the rest of the day, such sweet reassurance and peace.

I just wanted you to know that I heard you, and that I received it.

Thanks.

Wish I could say more than just this, about it all.

Happy Sunday Steemit.
