This is the dock that I keep my bait under, I have holding pens. It is a long walk to the end.
These grates were put in to let the sun penetrate so the dock does not shade the seagrass.

There are two upwellers, these are to grow baby seed clams, they put them on screens to grow until they reach 6mm in size. The seed clams are the size of beach sand when placed on the screens.
The upwellers are not in use right now, the square boxes are the screens they put the baby clams on.
These are oyster bags, there is a young woman growing oysters, she works alone and puts in long hard hours.

A clam barge, they use the table to lay the clam bags and fill with the right amount of clams, different size clams get different amounts of clams. The bags are laid on the bottom of the river, pinned down and a cover net is rolled over them and pinned down. It is to keep predators from eating them.

Boat lifts, you turn the wheels to lower the lift then run your boat over it and hand crank the wheels to lift your boat out of the water. It is not easy to do this but keeps things from growing on your boat.

If you want to just sit and watch the river you can climb up here, there are benches built to sit on.
