What might be that dreadful sin,
From the past life,
From which there is no respite,
For all the years.

Deserving of the misery,
Surely not,
Yet clouds of darkness,
Cast shadows down on the ground.

A boy merely of a few years,
That grew on a tale,
Once told over a meal,
Hoping for the same story,
Yet never seen anything quite so.
