Some of the raindrop,
Were swept away,
To a place atop the skies.
From down there,
They shone a light up into the ground,
Burning it all,
With an onslaught of cold water.
A gift,
Actually double,
Of value unknown,
Priceless it was.
Walking down that lonely road,
To the small palace,
Inside it a pearl,
That shone like happiness.
Erased,
Left empty,
That faint sweet flowery smell,
Melted away into the shadows.
Forever,
It was a fear,
Of what might go wrong,
When all did go so,
Anyhow,
Regardless.
