By now you would have probably guessed that I love photographing birds in their natural environments.
I get a real sense on Zen from being outdoors, with the wind in my face and a camera in hand. It's here I feel most creative.
For this shot, I went out with my Canon EF 400mm f5.6 L lens to see what I could capture. I spotted a tern hovering over the ocean, waiting to dive for a fish below. It was the perfect opportunity to take a shot. The resulting picture captured the incredible colour of the ocean and the beautiful Tern.
