The difference between those who push themselves forward and those who don't is merely a decision to start today and most another day.
Sounds like a catchy quote, right?
I bet it does, but what brings me to this particular line today is that while we use to elaborate on procrastination, we don't really simplify it to people.
For instance, many people don't even have an idea of what procrastination means. I could remember fee years back when I started into the crypto space, there was a friend of mine whom I noticed gambles all his pocket money away on sports betting.
There was also another friend who doesn't, but he's searching for a place to earn money because he hates gambling and any related activity that would take money away from him.
For me, I'm a bit of this and that, meaning I sometimes gamble, and I do so responsibly (if that's possible), but my other friend is a chronic punter.
Due to the fact that we were all young, we all had our ways of sustaining ourselves, but for me, I didn't really have any other option apart from online earning, so this was how I started finding way into the internet money and finally found crypto.
On finding this new thing on the block I was the only one who had this knowledge about the way to go about it, so I decided to also have a chat with these two friends of mine who I see would be a good thing for them and for everyone in general.
However, my long talk was never accepted wholeheartedly, but while one of them accepts it gave me.more.listening ears the other one, who is into sports betting didn't even Flint before he said he's not interested in stuff like that.
Sometimes, due to how your own personal situation is, people won't want to associates with whatever you say, especially if it involves money and not just small money but an enormous and life-changing one while you yourself are still broke.
I approached them as a brokie so why would they want to start with me when I haven't even made any amount to sustain myself?
This is how many of us view life, where we only want the proof of everything. People only want advice from those who are already rich, but how many times have you seen a rich man going out there to preach to everyone how he become rich.
The situation back then made me reflect on how my other friend who didn't give me a listening made me feel because today he's now trying to get my attention on how he could start investing in the crypto world. But I'm not in that vicinity anymore, and it's too much of a hassle to lecture him online.
My other friend, who gave more attention, and I did go through with our plans eventually, and we made a killing even though the market cycle later got in the way of things later because we didn't cash out all our profits. But we are both learning and developing ourselves even up until today, and while we are not yet where we wanted to be, we are both living fine and still striving to survive and eventually attain financial independence sooner than later.
