Fiat money is the lovely little devil we know, and have known, all our lives as humans on this rocky earth.
While crypto on the other end is considered to be the devil —we don’t know.
Many people today think that they know this devil called cash, fiat currency, dough or any other name we've given to this little demon devouring our finances on daily.
But only a few really do know that they are indeed being eaten alive.
I was talking to my mum earlier today. She's one to believe in the fiat system. And it's no surprise, she was groomed and raised with this stuff.
And it's why she's got her life savings locked in the banks as a retirement plan. And to her, that's the best safe option you can ever find. Anything other than fiat is all schemes to take your money.
This sentiment is rooted in her that the first time(a long time ago) I mentioned bitcoin to her. She pointed out that it reminded her of the lottery, slots and other schemes that were the trends during her early days (back in the 90s). And that crypto is just a trend of today that will/might die out tommorow.
Even my dad also thinks the same.
And they both have got their life savings in the banks.
I've tried times without numbers to show them how much it is they are losing to inflation every day, and that no matter how much interest they are being paid by the banks, the maths just won't match up.
But it was all to no avail, so I stopped trying and used that energy to to focus on building my own portfolio here in the crypto space.
I don’t think anyone would choose to be devoured and consumed by fiat currencies, if they knew how much they are losing out on, by just keeping fiat under their beds or in the banks.
I tried that until I met crypto by chance
And this is why I now know the limitations of this devil because today….
I know you can't go to the market to trade, then pay with anything except fiat. Even if few accept crypto—fiat currency is the priority.
And if you demand to pay using BTC, Hive Or Hbd, then you're in for some real trouble.
This is why I see crypto presently as an asset that can serve as an edge towards fiat inflation. And fiat as mainly for spending purposes - nothing more, nothing less.
One reason for this mindset is that no matter how much income you earn, if you're not investing in something to beat the inflationary devil programmed into the fiat system, you'll never be able to thrive like you should.
To me, fiat is the devil I don't know, and I don't want to.
But crypto is the devil I know and want to get to know better.
Because I believe this devil(crypto) is only in disguise and will reveal itself if you get to know and understand it better.
Moreover it can also fight for you and act as your knight in shinny armor against inflation and also some crooks like the Rockefeller so they won't be able to break in and push their illicit agenda of — printing more money when there a downturn or their mantra of -*you'll own nothing and be happy.
Which is predicted to commence in 2030(less than 7 years from now)
If I ask you — is printing money profitable or not, I'm sure many don't see the whole picture except the penny that might come in through the mail when they apply for that stimulus.
What happened to the money we've got before? Someone's got a hold of it, and I bet it's not you and me. So where does all the fiat currency in the world reside?
It's a question we should ask whenever we think about why governments print more fiat when in reality more fiat won't solve the problem of a downturn in the economy.
However, we prefer to leave the job to the professionals. Whether they have good intentions or not. But its never the case with crypto as it's immutable and no matter how much inflation, deflation or hyper inflation - 24milion Btc is all there is.
This is why personally, getting into fiat is only for spending purposes, as I like to leave my money in crypto (even if it dumps) than to let it become devalued by the Thanos and Rockefeller's of the financial world.
However, this doesn’t mean crypto is a safe heaven, it's not(yet), but if you take a look at the financial world closely over the years, you’ll realize that there’s something that has been ongoing for years now. And that's the issue of printing moar which always back fires as history has shown us.
I bet what lead Satoshi to eventually launching Bitcoin in 2009 must've been due to the market crash that happened in 2008. But I might be wrong.
However I think we are not far from that same issue repeating itself again as we can see with more and more layyoffs that has been happening of recent. It's now even on a larger scale than ever.
This is why nothing is going to stop people from owning nothing(in the coming years) but the question now is—Are you going to be among those who lets inflation eat them alive or be among those who thrive with crypto as a leverage?
It's a choice, to make it now or suffer it later. Use fiat(for spending purposes), but don't use it as a hedge or leverage against inflation because you'll never be able to cheat the fiat system controlled by the elites. However with crypto you've got yourself a whole new game, but you'll have to get to know this devil before it helps you beats the inflationary system.
Which devil would you like to know - Fiat or Cypto?
