DEFINITION AND ELEMENTS OF WEATHER AND CLIMATE
Weather is defined as the condition of the lower atmosphere of a place over a short period of time. The weather of a place is always very brief and always change regularly e.g the weather of today could be rainy, cloudy or sunny.
CLIMATE
It involves the average weather condition of a place over a long period of time. The weather of any given place can change from day to day while climate is comparatively constant over a long time.
ELEMENT OF WEATHER AND CLIMATE
[1] Temperature: The heat within the air always indicates how hot or cold a place is and also varies from latitude to latitude. We all know the sun is the source of all heat, measured with the aid of thermometer. It always influences the actual amount of water vapour present in the air and also the rate of condensation and evaporation. In most lower atmosphere temperature always decrease with height.

[2] Cloud: All these particles of a water droplet in the upper atmosphere is suspended in the air. Due to some condensation of water vapour carried by the rising of air which may give cloud precipitation. Cloud reduce visibility and droplet solar insulation. We have a different type of cloud which is cumulus, cirrus and status.

[3] Pressure: It involved a number of mixed gasses and has a weight which it also exerts on the earth surface. It always varies from one place to another and from time to time. Do you know the right one goes, the lower the temperature and pressure? pressure is measured in barometer.
