Let talk about what actually distinguish science from other forms of knowledge.It is the method.In science the mode of generating knowledge is referred to as the scientific method and it is logical step by which scientist comes to their conclusion about the world around and refer it as the scientific method.Scientific method help to organize thought so that scientist can be bouyant in the conclusion which they reach.In this area it will only to discuss the nature of the scientific method starting with the origin of modern science.Their specific goals is to determine maybe we should believe on what the science says .The scientific method has four main stages which are :-
Observation
It turn that observation into hypothesis
The test of that hypothesis with experiment
Drawing a conclusion from the experiment about the hypothesis
Stage one:-As we all know the frist step is observation.This is most acceptable method for learning about a natural law which is achieve by taking the measurement.The continuous of observation will lead to the formulation of hypothesis itself.
Stage two:-In this stage it involve the whereby of hypothesis.hypothesis is form in this stage for the explanation of phenomenon.The scientific hypothesis is an idea that can be tested by observation and experiment about the natural world itself.In order to consider hypothesis a scientific method the hypothesis subject of scientific evaluation must be falsifiable which i mean they are worded in some way that they are prove.
Stage three:-In this stage several test and experiment by different reseachers in order to prove or also disprove the hypothesis prediction,but in scientific method it is very important to know that they dont set out to prove a hypothesis like they say we test it only.
Stage four:-If the hypothesis have been tested,we will draw a conclusion from that experiment about the hypothesis.The two main method that are used is induction and deduction which are the good logic tool for reasoning.scientific method apply inductive reasoning.It is a principle of reasoning that will sanction inference from observation of a particular instance.Deductive reasoning always derive conclusion from a set of pre-existing pemise.
