Greetings, my dear gardeners of the world. And to the #Hivegarden community.
Today, Thursday, I had a little time to write my first post in view of participating in the #CreativeGarden Challenge. I went out early to buy some groceries. When I got home, I started to feel some pains in my legs (bones) and my throat was scratchy. I hadn't had the flu for a long time, even though I suffer from a chronic rhinitis pathology. Everyone around here is sick 🤮. I made lunch and had lunch. Then, after a short rest, I started writing.
My story is about a cat that has been hanging around the garden in the backyard for several weeks. That little animal stays for a long time among my plants. When I open the door to the patio which remains closed, I only open it every day, but only when I need to water, watering and transplanting. In addition, I have to fetch water from the tanks because to save water, I don't have it connected to the pipe of the house. Then I constantly have a relationship with the cat to keep the inside of the house free of rodents. And when he starts meowing I go to the fridge and look for a cup that I keep for him, with the intention that the smell of the cat will run the rodents, at this time the 🐀 are walking around the yard because the neighboring houses have a deposit of fruits and vegetables, then, these rodents have multiplied. A problem arose, Several days ago a problem arose, I have observed that they enter at night a rodent. But just last night a mouse came in and got into the kitchen 🐀. We tried to kill it, but it was in vain, ha ha ha ha. I'm a little afraid of them. I thought that when one keeps a cat hanging around the yard, it 🐀 would stay away.
As for my health, I'm starting to feel a little sick, my eyes are watering 😪. But I'm still writing the story, could it be that it's not true about the cat smell, that it scares the bugs away. Earlier I had spread bait in several spots, but it doesn't eat them, last night I prepared a cardboard with glue and nothing. I had figured that by feeding the cat, I would be in the garden and prevent the critter from entering. The rodent started to wreak havoc, already today it damaged a flour.
After the whole rodent adventure happened, I went back outside and there was the cat meowing and I gave him his food and I think somewhat intrigued: - Why doesn't the cat control the mouse? Or chase it away and it doesn't ruin my food. Besides, I know how harmful this rodent is when there is no control. I am afraid that the cars will suffer damage to the wiring and seat. The food is already under protection.
As for my passion for gardening, I relate it to my paternal grandmother, Rosaura. She transmitted this passion to me even though she lived far away from me. In another city, Guanare, Portuguesa State, Venezuela. I was 06 years old, and I remember each pot with a plant. It was too much like a nursery, that's why I want to repeat her courage, it is not easy to work the garden, more now with this climate change. Every time I am in the garden and I see many plants in plastic bags, in plastic containers of different sizes because I like recycling ♺ I give another life to those plastics, I remember her. She also had a lot of passion for gardening, just like me, without living together she transmitted that passion to me.
Dear gardeners, give me a formula to run those rodents, I await your recommendations in the comments. I also tell you that the flu symptoms are increasing, I feel more intense bone pain. I leave you for today, I am going to rest and take a pill.
This morning, resuming the story, I feel a little better. You know what, the mouse fell into one of the cardboard boxes with glue. I am happy because the rodent that was inside the kitchen is dead. Now I have to cover the cracks where the rodents enter.
I almost didn't post, there was a power outage for 04 hours, they just reconnected, I'm translating and sending.
I invite @blanca56 and
