BATTLE ANALYSIS
RULES:
Below are the battle rules for the game. This is a two-rule battle with a maximum mana requirement of 40. The elements allowed are fire, death, and dragon, with no restrictions on neutral elements. The first rule is equalizer, where the initial health of all monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with the highest base health. The second rule is melee mayhem, which allows melee attack monsters to attack at any position.
LINE UP:
What to use in this battle rule is a little tricky since my enemy would maximize low-life melee monsters with high damage. To counter this, I might use a monster with thorns, which suggests the death category. Finally, I have decided to use Quix because our strategies might be similar. Using Quix will reduce range damage and speed. My focus now will be on how to counter magic and melee damage, in which the fire element will have an advantage. Please see the image below for my full lineup.
To summarize my lineup, I use one dragon monster, two neutral elements, and three fire monsters. My selection supports each other, and I think my advantage is the blast ability from my fire monsters. Another good decision I made is using a dragon monster that has a magic attack type with fly, void, and phase abilities. These abilities give a disadvantage to my enemy's melee and magic type monsters. For melee reduction ability, I use two monsters, with the other monster having an advantage since it is a ranged type. I am expecting that my enemy will use melee type monsters with reduced damage for melee attacks. I think my ace here is the monster that has a blast ability, especially the one I put at the rear. Its abilities of opportunity, camouflage, swiftness, affection, and blast make it a perfect team.
