Twitter or Threads! Which one you use more?

I am doing good, and I hope that you are having a good time with your near and dear ones.

Twitter and Threads, both are microblogging platforms but there are differences that I am sharing in this article. We can indeed share any content on both platforms and both are easy to use but is still you will be able to find significant differences between both.

Threads is on the blockchain

Threads is built by @leofinance on the blockchain and this is good because we can rest assured that our content will always be here because data deletion is not possible on the blockchain. On the other hand with Twitter, this is one of the biggest problems because once they ban the account the content is gone. This is like a threatening situation in which the user is not sure when they can be something wrong and data is lost forever.

Reward possibility with Threads

Content monetization is a default feature that is provided to everyone here but the Twitter, scenario is completely different. I have never seen any account that is monetized on Twitter and not even sure if there is a such process. Maybe there is something that I am not aware of because I am not so much activity there. I am trying to be more active on threads because it is a great platform that brings a possibility to earn rewards on the content.

Account Ownership

Twitter we cannot say whether it is our account because technically it is controlled by the company. With threads, we can say that we own the account as it is decentralized and there is no mechanism to ban the account. Our account ownership will remain with us always and we need not worry about getting it banned in any situation.

I am about to complete one year on Twitter and at that time threads were not born. Now I use both but I preferred to use more threads. I think we can use both and try to bring more attention to Threads through the Twitter audience and it can help the platform grow. We can also call it away after motion which can add more value to the Leo ecosystem. What are your thoughts about it and what do you think is a better product when it comes to microblogging? Soon we are going to have the new interface and I believe it will make the platform even better so let's work together to bring more awareness about it.
