My vote goes to @dimante.

I read all five entries before deciding. @henryjnrr had a genuine goal with the PPL, and I liked the idea of learning something simply because you're fascinated by it. @yalloveme had probably the strongest voice of the bunch, and the burnt orange post was actually fun to read. @pamilerin1 had a much bigger sense of purpose behind the answer, connecting blue with her goal of becoming a medical practitioner and helping people fight cancer. @teacherlynlyn had a thoughtful take on green, even if I thought it got a little repetitive.

But @dimante's post was the one that gave me the clearest sense of the person behind it. A software engineer who wants to learn hairdressing and makeup as an escape from screens and code, partly because she has two daughters she can practice on, plus the whole doomed-white-clothes situation with kids. It felt personal, practical, and actually sounded like her.

So that's my vote. Good luck to all five.
