Portraits of a Surviving City. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]
Greetings, friends of #blackandwhite
When I arrived at #hive a little over a year ago, I didn't understand the impact it would have on my life, how much it would transform and educate my photographic vision. Today I can say that there is a before and after. The contribution it has made to my life is fundamental in my preparation as a street photographer. It has been a silent teacher, guiding me and teaching me to manage my emotions by expressing them in photographs.
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by 
Every outing is a challenge because I always try to give my best, be as realistic as possible with what I observe, and share it to contribute to the community.
It has also led me to meet wonderful people with very noble hearts.
Havana has always welcomed me with open arms, waiting and sometimes showing me all its contrasts in small strokes.
The city is unique, with so much history contained within it.
That's why it's so pleasant to sit in one of its streets, have a coffee, chat with the old man sitting at his doorstep, and, why not, admire the beauty of Cuban women?
Every time I return home after spending the day taking photographs, it is as if I have grown more spiritually, more comfortable with myself, and knowing that this is just the beginning of the many blessings that are to come in the future.
Thank you, #blackandwhite, for being a space where passion for photography and good vibes flow.

Saludos amigos de #blackandwhite
Cuando llegué a #hive, hace algo más de un año, no comprendía el alcance que tendría en mi vida, de hasta cuando podría transformar y educar mi visión fotográfica. Hoy puedo decir que hay un antes y un después. El aporte que ha hecho a mi vida es fundamental en la preparación como fotógrafo de calle. Ha sido un maestro silencioso que me va llevando y enseñando a manejar mis emociones expresando en fotografías.
Cada salida es un reto porque trato siempre de dar lo mejor de mí, ser lo más realista posible con lo que observo y compartirlo para aportar a la comunidad.
Además, me ha llevado a conocer personas grandiosas y de muy noble corazón.
La Habana siempre me ha recibido con los brazos abiertos, esperando y mostrando a veces por pinceladas todos sus contrastes.
Y es que la ciudad es única, hay mucha historia contenida en ella.
De ahí que sea tan placentero sentarse en alguna de sus calles a tomar un café, conversar con el anciano que se sienta a la puerta de su casa, y, ¿por qué no, admirar la belleza de la mujer cubana?
Cada vez que regreso a casa después de pasar el día haciendo fotografías, es como si hubiese crecido más espiritualmente, más cómodo conmigo mismo y sabiendo que apenas esto es el principio de las muchas bendiciones que habrán de venir en el futuro.
Gracias #blackandwhite por ser un espacio donde fluye la pasión por la fotografía y las buenas vibras.
