Hello, friends of #blackandwhite

Yesterday, Friday, I had photography classes at UNEAC (Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba). A couple of weeks ago, I signed up for the course to learn from the best contemporary Cuban photographers. Classes started at 2:00 pm, but as you can imagine, as soon as the sun came up, I was already in action mode. I had the privilege of meeting my friend @rg2-foto, who is also taking the course, and to pass the time we said to each other: How about we go for a walk around Old Havana and see what we find... and off we went!!!!

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

The first person we met was this gentleman, who is quite well known in the historic district and, incidentally, a very good musician, a street musician, but one of the real ones, pleasant, who makes you feel very comfortable for a few minutes.

I couldn't help taking a few photos while he was singing and playing his guitar, just for the memories, I guess.

The statue of the city's historian, Eusebio Leal, which stands in front of the Palace of the Captains General, is a work of art; the details are magnificent. It is impossible to pass by without stopping.

Some car owners display their vehicles for all to see, while others prefer discretion. That's how we found this one, a Ford, but I don't know the year. It didn't go unnoticed for long. Soon, a flood of curious onlookers began to arrive and take pictures.

And so we reached the end of our journey. Thank you, brother @rg2-foto, for your company. I'm sure there will be more photography outings to come.

Hola, amigos de #blackandwhite

Ayer viernes tocó clases de fotografía en la UNEAC (Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba), desde hace un par de semanas me inscribí a curso y así aprender de los mejores fotógrafos contemporáneos cubanos. Las clases comenzaban a las 2:00 pm, pero como es evidente desde apenas salido el sol, ya estaba yo en modo acción. Tuve el privilegio de encontrar a mi amigo @rg2-foto que además está también en el curso y para hacer tiempo nos dijimos: ¡Qué tal si salimos a caminar un rato por La Habana Vieja y ver qué aparece... y allá fuimos!!!!

Al primero que encontramos fue a este señor, que ya es bastante conocido en la zona del casco histórico, y por cierto muy buen músico, músico callejero, pero los de verdad, agradable, y te hace pasar unos minutos muy a gusto.

No podía evitar, mientras él iba cantando y tocando su guitarra, hacer algunas fotos, para el recuerdo, digo yo.

La estatua del Historiador de la ciudad, Eusebio Leal, que está al frente del Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, es una obra de arte; los detalles, todo es magnífico. Es imposible pasar y no detenerse.

Hay algunos autos que sus dueños los exponen más para que sean vistos, pero otros pasan a la discreción. Así encontramos este, es un Ford, pero no sé el año, no pasó desapercibido por mucho rato. Enseguida, una avalancha de curiosos comenzó a llegar y hacerles foto.

Y así fue llegando el final del recorrido. Gracias, hermano @rg2-foto por la compañía, y estoy seguro de que serán más salidas fotográficas.
