Hello Hive community,
Today I want to share three unique pieces of Yemeni Agate that I recently finished shaping and polishing in my workshop. What makes these stones special is the natural imagery trapped inside them, revealed only when light passes through.
The Heart Stone
Right here in the exact center, nature formed a clear and perfect heart shape. The contrast between the dark shadow and the soft white background is amazing. It needs no explanation—everyone sees the heart instantly.
The pattern inside is very interesting because it combines two different colors—a dark shade blending into a vibrant reddish-orange wing. It looks almost like a small bird or a creature captured mid-flight.
featuring beautiful warm shades of brown and orange. The inclusion inside looks like an abstract figure or an organic formation surrounded by a glowing amber aura. When the light hits it, the colors completely come alive.
As a craftsman, my favorite part of the job is this exact moment: cutting through a raw mountain stone and discovering a piece of art that has been hidden for thousands of years.
I took these photos using direct light to show the transparency and details hidden inside the stones. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed bringing them to light.
