Bitcoin and Altcoins uptake in Kenya has skyrocketed. BTC for instance has seen weekly volumes of over KSHS 26,000,000. This has been attributed to positive uptake of the digital currency by Kenyans.
The peer to peer coin has defied odds and kept on rising. Not even the high prices at Local Bitcoin platform has discouraged traders.
