Tonight I thought I'd share some photos I took while donvee@donvee and I were on a road trip from Pennsylvania to Florida. He told me he found a museum while searching for some things to do along our route. He brought up the website for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum in Madison, Georgia. I was in love!

When he told me that the collection was going to be auctioned off just a few weeks after we would be passing through I knew we had to stop.

Bruce Weiner was an executive at Dubble Bubble and collected these cuties as a hobby. In all, there had to be about 200 of them in the museum.

Most of the microcars were from the 1940s to 1960s. They were popular in Europe after the end of World War II.

I'd love to own one of these some day.
