Downvoted because, while I do appreciate your content and the way you deliver it, I find it discouraging that you seem to exclusively self-vote your own posts / comments. Other content creators are getting flagged / reprimanded left, right, and center for this type of conduct on Steem. Surprised @aggroed came in here and only dropped a 1% downvote, as he's one of the 'champions' of this 'movement' -- maybe he was just too riled up about commenting on the content of the video. There are some details on the "Economic Improvement Proposal" or some-such label for the E.I.P that was rolled out as part of HardFork 21, and how it was explicitly implemented to discourage "dishonest voting" such as self-vote-farming like this*. See here for a post detailing some of the changes, and you need not look far for other discussions about some more nuanced details.
EDIT: *probably unfair to say that this is vote-farming, as the comments / posts are good content rather than dummy-posts and dummy-comments exclusively for broadcasting votes. But the point still stands about exclusive self-voting rather than curation efforts.
Consider using some of your stake for engagement with your audience, or some of the other Journalists / Commentators that are on Steem -- or some of the other interesting, non-politics-related projects that are out here. There's an ecosystem here, and everyone could benefit if individuals do their best to foster some progress. I mainly bring this up, as it's more than likely that sooner or later, someone with significantly more stake than myself may come along and decide that they don't like your practices, and it would sting a lot more -- with less garbage appearing on the trending page, self-voters and voting circles are becoming a popular target.
Long post / rant short. I hope you continue sharing your worthwhile content on Steem. But I also hope you start contributing the ecosystem here in a sustainable way.
To comment on the video -- I'd liken the issue to climate change, or almost the reverse of it. Where, with climate change, it's a STAGGERINGLY dangerous and destructive problem facing the population at large, but it's difficult to depict / understand on individual levels and short time-frames. But the issue w/ vaccines, as in "yes, there are some side effects on a small percentage of population that is vaccinated", it's more akin to something that there are SHOCKING ramifications that are hard to deal with and provide a lifelong struggle to a minimal amount of individuals, but in terms of global population -- the effects are mostly negligible. I can understand why people get riled up about it -- it affects some families directly, and that's hard to ignore.
You call to action at the end:
Will this trend continue?
Almost certainly. I don't see it getting better. Misinformation / willful ignorance / selfishness seems to be at an all time high (at least in my short life thus far).
