Sunday lunch was at my niece's favourite noodle shop. She works in another state and flies home almost every month to see her parents.
The first thing she does on arriving home is always to drive several miles to the noodle shop for deep fried fish fillet and vermicelli noodle in a super tasty tomato soup.
I have tried to emulate the texture and flavour of the soup quite a few times at home but have not been very successful.
