President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela had recently declared plans to launch the petro cryptocurrency to avoid biting US imposed sanctions on the impoverished nation. Seems like he's been overruled by his congress. I can bet this is going to turn into a fight. How much more must the people of Venezuela suffer before the world takes notice?
