Bitcoin fees are ridiculous but I think I was wrong. Miners are getting less than 1 BTC in fees in each block. I still don't understand why so little given there is over 300 BTC in fees in the mempool at the moment. Maybe blockchain.info is somehow showing the fees in the mempool wrong.
